Health centre upgrade agreed

27th January 2011

NHS Borders has awarded a £2.68m contract to refurbish and extend a health centre in Jedburgh.

Border Construction Ltd will carry out the work to substantially redevelop the current site, with the project getting under way at the start of February and due to be complete in Spring 2012. The Jedburgh scheme is part of a £7m investment in sites across the region which will also see new or improved facilities in Lauder and Galashiels. Most services will still be able to operate from the health centre during construction.
