Hospital group goes into administration

25th November 2009

The Cawston Park private hospital group at the centre of a collapsed fraud trial earlier this year has gone into administration.

The company, which operated three mental health services in the Norwich area, was taken over by Deloitte last week. In June, the company’s former chief executive Andrew Breeze and former finance director Dominic Wilson were found not guilty of conspiracy to defraud the NHS of more than £2m. The firm’s 42 NHS patients have now transferred to other providers.
