Hospital's CRS deployment challenge

8th August 2008

The Cerner Millennium care records system has caused some delays and problems for the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust following its June launch.

More than 4,000 staff members were giving training on the system. According to a document by the trust: "Cerner has had a comparatively successful launch (when compared with other acute trusts) and this is due, to a large extent, to our staff who have been exceptional. However, this launch has not been without its problems, some of which were anticipated."
