How to spot diabetes

Early diagnosis of diabetes is necessary to prevent further, more serious complications.

The American Diabetes Association says common warning signs include:

  • Increased thirst and urinating more than normal
  • Extreme hunger, even when eating
  • Increased fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Slower healing
  • Weight loss
  • Numbness of limbs
