HPV jab roll-out to over 18s?

The HPV vaccination programme may be extended to include women over the age of 18.

The Department of Health has updated the Joint Committee on Immunisation and Vaccination (JCVI) on how it is dealing with the implementation of the HPV programme and said it will provide guidance to primary care trusts and GPs on the vaccination of women aged 18 and over in due course. In Scotland, discussions also taking place as to whether or not the vaccination should be given to women up to 25.
