Innovation award for N3

30th April 2008

The prestigious 2008 Government Computing Award for Innovation has been won by the NHS Connecting for Health N3 team.

The team was successful in the “Government to Government category at the awards ceremony in London and beat off opposition from The Cabinet Office, Kent Connects and the Scottish Criminal Justice Board to take the trophy.

This award recognises a project that demonstrates effective joined-up working between at least two organisations in the public sector: the NHS and BT working together on the secure broadband national network for the NHS in England.
