Ipswich Hospital takes on Lorenzo

31st January 2013

Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust has announced it has signed-up to take Lorenzo.

The deal sees CSC winning a contract with its fourth trust, under the interim agreement with the government. Ipswich Hospital currently uses iSoft’s iPM patient administration system, but it has now approved a business case to take Lorenzo’s bed management functionality and plans to implement the full Lorenzo package to replace the trust’s PAS by 2014. Functionalities, such patient self-check-in kiosks, will be implemented in advance.
