IQ Systems bought by System C

5th July 2007

System C Healthcare has acquired private sector health IT specialists IQ Systems Services.

The deal for the supplier of patient management and clinical software solutions for private treatment centres and hospitals is said to be worth about £2m. IQ’s most popular product is IQUtopia, which is a purpose-built patient management, healthcare scheduling and clinical records management system.

System C says that it hopes the acquisition of IQ will accelerate its expansion into the private healthcare market along with strengthening its product portfolio.
