Is our water being poisoned?

30th September 2008

The trace amounts could, in theory, damage a developing foetus, according to one doctor. The Drinking Water Inspectorate has been asked by the government to test water in a pilot trial. A spokesman for the Inspectorate said previous tests had: "found no significant risk to health because anything was so diluted it was innocuous. This is a way of double checking."
