iSoft legal action on hold

6th June 2007

Healthcare software firm iSoft released a statement on 6 June 2007 regarding a legal showdown with their main customer, CSC.

iSoft had said earlier in the week that it had commenced legal action against CSC over its blocking of IBA Health's takeover of the company. iSoft stepped back from legal action and will carry on with negotiations regarding CSC's management of their contribution to the National Programme for IT.

The company's statement said: "While these discussions are in progress, iSoft and CSC have agreed temporarily not to take further steps in court in relation to proceedings commenced on 4 June 2007 in relation to CSC withholding its consent."
