iSoft ORMIS for Leicestershire provider

NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland Community Health Services has implemented a wireless electronic patient record system which will provide paper-free processes in operating rooms across five of its hospitals.

ORMIS (Operating Room Information System) from iSoft has been implemented to manage all day-case operations at Loughborough, Melton, Rutland and Hinckley district hospitals and the endoscopy unit at Market Harborough. The system, which is based on wireless mobile technology provided by Devlin Medical, will allow users to manage appointments, theatre schedules, patient records, care planning and performance reports.
