iSoft whiteboards used at Pennine

1st December 2011

Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has said it is aiming to have electronic whiteboards live in almost 100 wards across its five hospitals within four months.

The trust has installed the electronic boards in four wards and will begin rolling-out the technology to the remaining 93 wards in January. The VisiWard technology from iSoft takes information from the trust’s PatientCentre patient administration system and displays this along with bed status in real time. The boards are currently live in wards at the Royal Oldham, Fairfield and North Manchester Hospitals.
