Legal 'designer drugs' warning

27th June 2013

The UN is warning against legal 'designer drugs'.

The 'designer drugs' and 'legal highs' are enticing young people into addiction under the mistaken impression that the products pose no health risk. The number of reported new psychoactive substances jumped by more than 50% in less than three years.

The UN Office on Drugs and Crime say 'this is an alarming drug problem - but the drugs are legal'.
