Lorenzo go-live delayed

3rd September 2010

The planned go-live of the Lorenzo Care Management system at Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust has been delayed.

The trust originally planned to go-live on 6 September but has now confirmed that date will be pushed back until it is sure that the system is "safe to be deployed". That now looks like October. Birmingham was meant to become the second acute trust to deploy Lorenzo Release 1.9, following on from University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, which went live at the beginning of June.
