Lung cancer deaths in women has risen

According to research lung cancer deaths in women are now higher than breast cancer.


Latest figures show a prediction of a fall in breast cancer deaths by 10.2% while lung cancer deaths have risen by 9% between 2009-2015.

The UK has one of the highest lung cancer mortality rates of 21 per 100,000.
