Lung cancer patients need nurse

The Government has been urged to provide every lung cancer patient in Britain a specialist nurse. At a meeting in Westminster, the UK Lung Cancer Coalition lobbied the department of health to put increased provision of specialist nurses at the heart of its policy. Maria Guerin of the National Lung Cancer Forum for Nurses said one in 10 lung cancer patients does not have access to a specialist nurse.
