Man's epic jog to raise hospital funds
5th January 2009A man who had 29 brain operations is planning to jog the length of the UK in order to raise funds for the hospital who treated him.
Simon Lannon, intends to make £60,000 for The Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery NHS Trust by jogging from Land's End, Cornwall, to John O'Groats, Highland, in April. Mr Lannon, said: "The Walton Centre is the only place I have ever had treatment. They have saved my life a couple of times."
