MD of Cerner Europe resigns

The managing director of Cerner Europe, Alan Fowles, has resigned and will leave the company on Friday.

Having been with the company for 11 years and overseeing the first Cerner NHS installations, he has announced that he is moving on to pursue "international opportunities".

No announcement has yet been made as to who will replace Mr Fowles. The company thanked Mr Fowles for his contribution over more than a decade during which he played a "key role" in its "significant growth".
