A five-year-old patient is thought to be the first patient in the UK to become the recipient of organs provided by her parents. 

An operation gave Jasmine Mirza 30% of her father's liver and one of her mother's kidneys, after her own organs failed. Jasmine's liver will grow as she gets older and the new kidney will mean she does not have to spend time on a dialysis machine every day.
