Medics urged to work closer with patients

The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement has said that health service staff should work more closely with patients.

The Institute has designed a new guide based on the "experience based design approach". Lynne Maher, head of Innovation Practice at the Institute, said: "If NHS services are to improve, it’s essential that staff start thinking about how to meaningfully involve patients."
