Medway Maternity system for Poole Hospital

13th January 2012

Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – which sees 5,000 births a year – has awarded a contract to System C to deploy Medway Maternity from mid-September.

The software will record the complete timeline for maternity care, covering antenatal, delivery and postnatal services for mother and the baby and also allow the capture of links to paternal details as appropriate. Practitioners will use the system in the hospital, while community clinics and midwives working in the home will be able to enter assessment and booking information directly into Medway using laptops and mobile devices.
