Mental health services in Sheffield rated best

28th June 2012

An independent study by Health Service Journal has named Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust as among the best performing in the country.

The trust, which provides mental health, learning disability, drug and alcohol services, primary care and other specialist services, was assessed on a number of performance measures. Chief executive Kevan Taylor said the study recognised "the commitment of our staff who work hard across the trust to deliver high-quality care, and also the consistency of our approach to providing services to the people of Sheffield".
