Mental health support service launched for children

The Department for Education and Department of Health have launched a new interactive resource, MindEd, in a bid to tackle rising concerns about mental illnesses in young people.

Mental Health

This resource is for concerned children and their families to seek help.

The figures mentioned viz., 850,000 children aged between 5 and 16, are really alarming. It is to hoped that with the introduction of MindEd and the concerted efforts of the concerned Authorities the situation will improve.
