Mental health unit rescue

14th January 2008

Solicitors plan to take the case of patients at a mental health unit which faces closure to the High Court.

They are arguing that the closure of the Henderson Hospital in Sutton, Surrey would cut the number of beds offered to people with personality and behavioural problems by 50%. The BBC reports that the legal challenge will start in the next two weeks.
