Mental health wards 'unfit'

Moira Fraser, Head of Policy at the Mental Health Foundation, has responded to the recent  Mental Health Act Commission report, "Risk, Rights, Recovery".

She called for chage and was critical of the fact that some wards were places where patients "feel vulnerable and scared. Steps clearly need to be taken to make wards safer places, especially for children and older people who find themselves inappropriately placed."
