Millennium go-live in the South

4th April 2008

Stoke Mandeville is the latest hospital to go-live with the Cerner Millennium patient administration and clinical software under the NHS IT programme.

The hospital, which is part of the Buckinghamshire Hospitals NHS Trust, switched on the Millennium software in 28 inpatient areas of the hospital at the end of March, followed soon after by the four main theatre groups and outpatient clinics. The software was implemented by Fujitsu and is the ‘release 0’ version, which does not yet connect with the NHS Spine.
