New eye testing technology

Scottish researchers have built new eye-testing equipment which could be used to discover potential vision disorders more quickly than standard testing methods.

Scientists at Glasgow's Gartnavel Eye Hospital have used very small electrodes to investigate how healthy the back of a person's eye is. The team hopes that opticians will be able to use the equipment and will work with the health service to sell it in the US.
