New health centre to open

20th July 2009

NHS Bath and North East Somerset are opening a £7 million health centre in Keynsham offering GP services.

The Keynsham complex will also provide dentistry, midwifery, podiatry, health visitors, physiotherapy and speech therapy. The clinic is expected to bring in more health services, including outpatient care. Rhona MacDonald, chief executive of NHS B&NES, said: "By bringing services together under roof like this people can receive the care they need in the same place without having to travel as far."
