New parents taught first aid

The Royal Life Saving Society has announced plans to give free two hour first aid courses to new parents.

Currently the NHS does not offer a first aid course, but the Society will run the courses in cities around the UK. The course, known as BabySafe, will be held in Guildford, Oxford, Newport, Gloucester, Birmingham, Coventry, Liverpool, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
