New provider for NHS 24

The health advice service in Scotland, NHS 24, has ended its partnership with Clinical Solutions and chosen Capgemini as its new provider.

The patient contact and triage management application contract will be now taken over by the IT services and consultancy company, which as French origins. Bids for the service were also received from the existing provider and from BT. Under the second stage of changes, NHS 24 is now also looking for a provider for other additional applications, infrastructure and managed services.
