New public health centre opened

The Public Health Minister and Bristol South MP Dawn Primarolo has officially opened a new £4 million primary care centre in Whitchurch.

The centre is home to 20 consulting rooms and provdes clinics for diseases such as asthma and diabetes. Dr Maggie Clark, of the Clark practice, said: "Having a much larger and purpose-built centre means that we can really extend our range of care for local people."
