NHS risk warning
28th March 2012A leaked document has warned that rising costs of GP care and poorer response to health emergencies are some of the risks of the ongoing NHS shake-up.
A draft risk register – which the government has not published despite a ruling from the Information Commissioner - has found a high chance of dangers such as a loss of financial control from the health bill. The Department of Health has not responded to the claims, saying that it does not comment on leaks.
