NHS 'too bureaucratic'1st September 2008
The health service "can at times be too bureaucratic" said health minister Ann Keen during an online conversation with patients.
When asked to describe the best and worst features of the NHS, Ms Keen wrote: "The best points are the universal access to treatment of the highest standard, with a professional and dedicated workforce. I think it can at times it can be too bureaucratic."
