NHS trusts asked to disclose payment times

All NHS trusts in the UK have received requests to reveal how much time it takes them to pay their suppliers.

A freedom of information request has been sent to trusts by the Forum of Private Business. FPB policy representative Matt Goodman said: "We believe that our requests under the Freedom of Information Act will paint a telling picture of how long small businesses across the UK are waiting for their local health trusts or councils to settle their bills."
