NHS wait up under Labour

4th March 2008

New statistics show that average NHS hospital waiting times have increased under Labour power.

The information reveals that the 1997-98 median average for waiting stood at 41 days, but in 2007 it had increased to 49 days. Katherine Murphy, of the Patients Association said: "These figures make us really question whether patients are getting a better deal."
