NICE reappoint Professor Sir Michael Rawlins

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has welcomes the reappointment of Professor Sir Michael Rawlins as NICE Chair for a further year.

The reappointment of Professor Rawlins, who has been the chairman of NICE since it was established in 1999, was made by the independent Appointments Commission's Health and Social Care Appointments Committee. Professor Rawlins is an Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, and Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
