North Staffs doctor concerns

17th June 2011

Dr Changez Khan Jadun, who specialises in clinical radiology at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, has been stopped from performing some procedures after concerns were raised about his work.

The hospital trust has confirmed it has carried out an internal review and commissioned an external assessment and is also looking again at the scans of 468 patients to “reassure patients and colleagues”. Dr Jadun has declined to comment but the trust has confirmed a doctor is "not performing interventional radiology whilst an investigation is under way following concerns raised internally in relation to a small number of patients".
