Nurses at RUH slammed by peer

29th February 2008

Lord Mancroft has criticised the nurses who treated him at Bath's Royal United Hospital in 2007.

The Conservative peer spoke to the House of Lords during a debate about patient care in the health service. He said the nurses were "...mostly grubby. We're talking about dirty fingernails, slipshod, lazy." The hospital said it would get in touch with Lord Mancroft to talk about the issue with him.
