One in three children obese

12th December 2008

Researchers are warning that a third of adults in the UK will be obese by 2012.

It comes as the latest figures from the National Child Measurement Scheme show no drop in the number of children who are obese, despite a raft of strategies to tackle the problem. By 11, 33% of children are overweight or obese.
