Only 33% of registered patients view SCR online

8th April 2010

New figures show that only 752 patients out of the more than 1.2m who have a Summary Care Record have opted to view their SCR on HealthSpace.

This means only 0.062% of patients are accessing their record on NHS Connecting for Health's portal, which was launched three years ago. The Department of Health has confirmed that by March 17, 2,257 patients had opened an Advanced Account to enable access to their SCR with just 752 (33%) having actually viewed it.
