Oxford try again to launch Cerner

2nd December 2011

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust has announced it is to have another attempt at launching its Cerner Millennium electronic patient record system this weekend.

While the trust achieved a technical go-live earlier this month when it upgraded Millennium at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, plans for staff at the trust’s other hospitals to start using the system last weekend were postponed at the last minute because some preparatory configuration work took longer than had been expected. The aim is to go live with the latest phase this weekend.
