Patient entertainment improves at Liverpool

12th October 2009

A health service trust in Liverpool has deployed a solution which lets them use a hospital's IP network to send tv and radio to patients' bedside entertainment systems.

Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust and Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust's chief information officer Dr Zafar Chaudry said: "This is making a big difference to the patient experience. Patients who are less stressed are less grumpy, so the nurses have an easier time caring for them."
