PCTs to edit new NHS website

The Department of Health has asked primary care trust chief executives to check health service information on the new NHS website ahead of its imminent launch.  The NHS Choices website is due to be unveiled on 11 June and the government is keen to avoid errors and any resulting chaos by asking PCT heads to check that information given about their service provision is accurate. The website is being hailed by the government as a super site which, “brings together information on all hospitals and treatment centres to empower patients to make more informed choices than ever before on their healthcare.?
