Push for dementia diagnosis

NHS England to push for a rise in dementia diagnosis rates. The aim is for two out of three cases to be identified by 2015. 'Dementia cases could be halved if more done on prevention' says senior advisor on public health.

The government has said diagnosis rates in England of about 45% is very low and has been raised as a priority in 'challenge on dementia'.
