Rate NHS hospitals online

12th August 2009

A new web-based scorecard facility on the NHS Choices website is set to enable patients to rate and compare hospitals.

Set to also include GPs later this year, it will give patients the opportunity to air their concerns or compliments for issues such as cleanliness, car parking and waiting times. The service was unveiled by health secretary Andy Burnham who said it would offer “an unparalleled opportunity” for hospitals to be made aware of any issues, to improve their services and become more patient focused.
