RCGP to represent nurses

19th November 2008

The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) is reported to be looking to boost its membership.

Nurses, practice managers and physician assistants look set to be offered representation, according to a former government advisory group member. Sue Cross, a former national project manager for The Working in Partnership Programme, said she was one of a number of people invited by the RCGP to assess whether it should appoint three sub-groups: one for general practice nurses, one for practice managers and one for physician assistants.
