Research fear over cancer money

The Christie NHS Foundation Centre in Manchester has said it is worried about future research after finding it could lose £7.5 million in the Icelandic bank collapse.

The centre had invested the money in Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander (KSF) earlier this year. Dr Chris Harrison, medical director of The Christie, said: "The things that we are concerned about are future developments into research."
