Safety fears over buggy

21st October 2010

Manufacturer Graco has issued a safety notice affecting two of its buggy brands.

Parents are being warned that their children's safety is at risk if they own a model of buggy that has been tied to four baby strangulation deaths in the US. The buggies involved are the Graco Quattro Tour and MetroLite - through retailers including Mothercare and Toys R Us – with 3,700 sold in the UK before 2008. The product is not being recalled but parents who are concerned about their child's safety can request a free modification kit from the manufacturer.
