Scotland roll out new software

4th April 2008

All 22 NHS boards across Scotland will have Version One’s document management and imaging software in place by March 2009 as part of a drive to achieve shared services throughout NHS Scotland.

Once the roll-out is completed, the health boards will be able to electronically create, deliver and store all their financial documents with the system and reduce manual data entry of invoices by up to 80%. Offering annual savings of about £3m, it will integrate Version One’s software into existing COA Solutions accounting systems.
