Seven days a week GP surgery

14th March 2008

Four new GP practices are to open in Northamptonshire offering services 12 hours a day and seven days a week.

Patients in Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton will be able to see a doctor between 8am and 8pm under the new services unveiled by the Northamptonshire Teaching Primary Care Trust.  The practices will also include an on-site pharmacy, a walk-in and minor injuries unit and a children’s centre. The two centres in Corby and Kettering could be open by December, with Wellingborough and Northampton opening in 2010.
